UrbanSpecs: Brand Identity
Challenges
UrbanSpecs, a new sunglass manufacturer needed to establish a brand identity. It was important that the new logo encompass the company’s urban street style conveyed in their trendy line of sunglasses.
Strategy
MSLK sought to create an illustrative logo that would leave a distinctive mark on promotional materials as well as the frames themselves.
Design
MSLK captured the essence of an urban environment with an illustration of a skyline. An expressive and trendy flair was added when the bottom of the buildings were removed to create the look of graffiti art and dripping spray paint..
Success
The UrbanSpecs logo was well received and played an integral role in the company’s brand establishment within New York City.
