Korres, a Greek beauty company, recently opened their first store in New York on Wooster St. in Soho. They market themselves as “natural products” (whatever that means these days), with a focus on incorporating homeopathic remedies into their products. The store itself is quite nice, but what I found most interesting were some of the product offerings, specifically chewing gum. As a chewing gum enthusiast, I bought a couple of packs to try (Lemon and Fennel and Rosemary). It was certainly interesting – both have a fragrant taste and an odd, waxy texture. While they might be pretty and homeopathic, they’re certainly no substitute for good ol’ Orbitz Spearmint.
