Barack Obama Helped You Move a Sofa
The website, Barack Obama Is Your New Bicycle has been popping up all around the blogosphere lately, and whether you like Barack or not, it is great fun! Such an awesome and simple idea—each time you click your mouse a new silly message about what Barack has done for you comes up. I certainly don’t think that this site has any ties to his actual campaign, but I do wish American political ads could be this whimsical. I’m also not sure if the site was created just to make us laugh or with the intent to communicate a larger message about the promises and sound bites that have started to swirl around this primary season. Perhaps the analogy here is that the candidates’ messaging has become as meaningless as the messages on the site. Maybe, either way, I wish I made this site. I love it!!
