Black & Blue Friday
Fed up with the crowds along lower Broadway, I ducked out west to see some art and look at books. There was not much to be found in Soho (there hasn’t been an art scene there since Prada, D&G, et al moved in in the 90’s). Nonetheless, I paid a quick visit to the Deitch Galleries, hoping to see something inspiring. That didn’t do the trick, either. These days, street artists seem to have the most to offer.
