Calling All Idiots!

All you need are four friends, a shopping cart, and some awesome costumes. The Idiotarod is back, and it’s this weekend in New York. There are various starting points in Queens and Brooklyn. The goal is to pass multiple checkpoints and make it to the finish line in Manhattan first. The best part – you can take any route you choose! Of course there are more rules, many of which mimic the classic Iditarod, with members required to be stationed at various points on the cart and touching it at all times. Regrettably, I will not be in town this weekend to witness this amazing spectacle. If you are – go! If you don’t go and happen to see people in costumes running around with shopping carts, give them a high five.
