A Masterpiece in Streamers

Two of my friends got married a couple weeks ago. The marriage was a civil ceremony at City Hall, but they followed it up this past weekend with a reception at their apartment in Bushwick. Impressively, they handled all the party details themselves. The pièce de résistance was this enormous 6ft x 10ft light sculpture hanging from the ceiling in the center of the apartment. It took over 1900 streamers and 14 hours to hang each individual streamer intertwined with light, creating an amazing chandelier—a perfect centerpiece for the reception of these two architects. Congratulations Ed and Barbara!
