We’re in Taschen
International publisher Taschen has just released “Guidelines for Online Success – The Dos and Don’ts of the Internet from the best interactive agencies around the world.”
MSLK has been included in this amazingly thorough survey of websites for the one we’d designed for M Studio.
To be included in a Taschen title is an honor, as their books are always a visual treat. Even better is that we’re in the company of many well-respected agencies from around the world, among many sites I’d admired over the years.
Not only do we get top-billing as a good example of using hidden menus, Sheri and I are quoted as “expert advice” for our listing of Dos and Don’ts:
The book is quite interesting, too, in its overall design. Each chapter has a custom tab design which allows readers to open directly to a specific section.
It even has a handy little elastic band which keeps it closed, and acts as a built-in bookmark.

Congrats! I love Taschen and will have to keep my eyes open for this book!

Wow! Congrats! That is awesome! (I’m trying to be consistent with my use of exclamation points!)

Thanks for the compliments. (Or, rather…Thanks!)
It really is an honor to be in here.

wow, this is amazing. I don’t even remember giving those quotes for the expert advice, but now that I read them they are of course ours…when did that happen??
Anyway, I’d still say that all over again. Those are like my top 3 mantras for web design.
Now, where are all those blog haters who complain about the M Studio navigation?? See, we put it right here in writing…don’t try this at home. It not for everyone, only the most savvy users…
