Here are some post-Labor Day happenings in the borough. 1. Act Green (re)Cycle Plays, 09.15.07 Artists will perform a series of plays with an environmental focus at the Socrates Sculpture Garden, a one-time a landfill/dumpsite transformed into an outdoor sculpture garden. 2. Work on Your Tan / Dance Moves Turntables on the Hudson, 09.08/22/29 & 10.06 The local beaches are closed for the season, but summer’s not over at the Water Taxi Beach. 3. Drink Beer Celebrate Oktoberfest (or Septemberfest) at one of New York’s oldest and largest outdoor beer gardens, Bohemian Hall. 4. Isamu v. Isamu Noguchi Museum, 09.20 – 03.063. An exhibit showcasing the work of Japanese designers Isamu Noguchi and Isamu Kenmochi.
