Showpaper

Showpaper Showpaper is a bi-weekly publication that lists independent music locally. It promotes indie musicians playing shows at local venues, often churches or music stores. The format is very simple and economical – a piece of newsprint folded in half. For each issue, they feature a different artist with the show list on the back. I love how these pieces capture the DIY, eclectic spirit of the music, and support artists and musicians alike. Equally as cool is the section on the back of the paper called “I Saw You.” It’s basically a “Missed Connections” of sort, giving hipster indie fans a chance to pursue a crush they may have seen at a show. Here are some additional shots of this weeks and a couple of covers of weeks passed. showpaper.jpg showpaper5.jpg sp4.jpg
