I Love You Green Bike Lanes
About eight years ago my friend Macha got a ticket on the way to work for not riding her bike in the bike lane. “What bike lane?”, she asked, because at the time there were practically none. She and I actually spent the morning trying to figure out how she could possibly ever get to work using the few bike lanes that were available. Yesterday I was down in Soho and to my delight I discovered a new, green bike lane on Prince Street. This would of certainly come in handy with Macha’s commute because it links up to one of the oldest bike lanes on Lafayette. These ‘green’ lanes make me so happy. Please Mr. City Planners make more of them!!
