Before you know it, I have a full-on cat revolution. The cats are happily running back and forth. Three other cats in cages are meowing to be let out, the two women in the window come over and want to play. Then we hear, "Blah, blah, blah, gaijin, blah, blah." and we know it is time to leave. Clearly we have angered the shop owners who I'm sure prefer the cats quietly sleeping and the guests quietly observing them without touching... We quickly left, but I can assure you we made three sad cats' day.
